Apostille & Consular Legalisation

Sometimes notarisation is all that is required, however, some countries have a further requirement that a notarised document has affixed to it an apostille. This is further authentication of the signature of a public official by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). I can help you obtain this via a courier service, with various options available.

Alternatively you can apply online via the FCDO website (www.fcdo.gov.uk). It is no longer possible for you to take documents personally to the FDCO.

Sometimes after the apostille has been affixed it is necessary for the document to be sent to the Embassy or Consulate of the country concerned. Again this is something I can assist with and we can discuss if appropriate to your matter. Please note that it is not always possible to give an exact timing for the return of documents by an Embassy/Consulate but I will do my best to advise as appropriate.

I am happy to discuss these options in more detail to assess which would be the quickest and/or most cost-effective depending on the time frame you have available.
